We homeschool and needed this for one of our units. The content is great but I can only give it 2 stars because the cover is exposed cardboard. The edges are all exposed instead of rolled. It's already starting to fray in the corners and it's only been used two days so far. I'm wondering if it's supposed to be this cheaply made?
Great content, but not a fan of the cut edges of the actual book. It feels as though someone overcoat the covers.
This is book looks and feels very cheap. The print is the lowest quality (think photocopy), the book cover is not properly coated, so the edges are already ruined coming out of the delivery box. The content is engaging and thoughtfully presented for an 8-12 age group. Keeping it for the content but not pleased with the physical book.
Great book. I saw that there were several criticisms of the binding. I suppose it may very well get a bit banged up over time but it's quite sturdy and I'm not bothered by the way the book is constructed. Good information and asks relevant and thoughtful questions.
I work with kids in an art museum setting and this book amhas answers to a lot of the questions the kids ask when they come to a museum. It’s a great reference to think about the perspective of the students.
